1. Soultime
I started having troubles sleeping at night a few months ago - my mind would NOT shut off. I randomly searched "sleep music" & found the Soultime App & WOW has it been a GOD SENT! Not only does the app offer the most relaxing sleep music (that I fall asleep to every night) but it has an entire library of tailored meditation series, story tellings & books of the bible. 2. Playlists & Podcasts
Music is an instant mood booster for me & my go-to is a playlist I created on Spotify called "Uplifting & Powerful". On the playlist are some of my favorite christian artists & songs that have been so transformative for me. I have it on public so you can check it out here!
Along with that - within the past six months or so, I have really been into podcasts! They are so informative, uplifting & positive! I've really enjoyed listening while getting ready or working out. I also use the Spotify app for podcasts & I have a list of my favorites here!
3. Daily Affirmations
This is so crucial! It's important for us to be kind to others but also kind to ourselves! I truly believe saying positive affirmations out loud daily can change our thoughts & mindset. I love pinterest for saving positive affirmations as well as self care affirmations. Below are my two pinterest boards I have & I add to them constantly! Check them out & save your favorites!
4. Do A Brain Dump
If you ever feel so overwhelmed with thoughts or feel like you can't turn your brain off - try a brain dump! This is basically dumping all of your thoughts out of your brain & onto paper. This has been known to help with anxiety & calm a worried mind before bed. Grab any journal or even the back of a receipt & get it all out!
5. Get Ready Every Morning!
I promise that getting ready every morning will help you feel "put together" & boost your mood & even your productively level for the day! Even if you don't have anything planned for the day except staying in - at least put on athleisure wear & a little bit of makeup. Get a morning routine down & you'll feel the difference!
6. Eat Clean, Drink Clean
The cleaner you eat & drink, the BETTER you'll feel! Ditch the pop & junk food & instead fuel your body with clean ingredients & whole foods! Take your vitamins, eat all the fruits & veggies & drink more water! I swear this has helped me SO much with mood, energy & digestion. Below are three things I take daily & swear by!

7. Clean Skincare
Bring out all the face masks - haha! When your skin looks good, you feel good! I love having glowing, healthy looking skin so I always take the time to care for mine. 9. Join A Life Group
I 100% believe it's beneficial to surround yourself with positive, supporting, like-minded people. My church encourages people to attend a life group once a week as a way to meet new people, take about life, relate & interact. I highly encourage you to check out your local church(es) & see if they offer life groups!
10. Herbal Tea
I am obsessed with all kinds of teas (seriously, my tea drawer is packed ha)! There are SO many options - green & black tea has almost as much caffeine as a cup of coffee & it's so much healthier! While other teas are naturally caffeine free & promote relaxation & quality sleep! There are so many options, flavors & all are natural!
11. Essential Oils
I am obsessed with essential oils & think everyone should use them! Lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus & sweet orange are a handful of my favorites! Every oil has a different purpose - lavender oil helps to calm & promote sleep, peppermint oil helps rid headaches & sweet orange boost mood. I make my own blends & am hoping to open an Etsy shop selling them one day!
12. Sunshine & Exercise!
Sunshine is an instant mood booster to me! Take a walk, jog, be in nature, soak up the sun &/or even take a joy ride! This always helps me to relax & refocus my energy. It's one of the best things you can do, in my opinion!
Exercise does the same thing! At home workouts (even if you have no equipment) are easy to find & do! There are many at home workout videos on almost every social media platforms & many workout apps with simple step-by-step moves! I really enjoy the SWORKIT app!
