I'm always getting asked what mascara I use! But my biggest secret is - it's not just my mascara that makes my lashes look like extensions! Thanks to my magic duo (which I'm sharing with you), my lashes are extra long, full & romantic looking! Oh la la..
HERE'S MY SECRET..
I use an eyelash curler before mascara! BUT not just any eyelash curler you would pick up from the drugstore. The eyelash curler set I use is part of a set. It's tiny but POWERFUL - mighty at curling lashes! Haha!
The tiny lash curler is so powerful that you only need to hold for two seconds. I love this one the most because it gets every lash from beginning to end! I then go over my lashes with the larger curler to even them out. I finish with using the brow spoolie to comb my lashes! I use the other end of the spoolie (& sometimes the actual spoolie) to comb my brows! Ta da! MEGA curled lashes!
NOW, for mascara!
The mascara I use is a 3D fiber mascara AKA magic in a bottle! It gives so much length & fullness. Slow & steady is key here! But no worries, even if you mess up & get mascara on your eyelid (like I do 1000% of the time), let it dry for two minutes then flake it off with a dry q-tip!
This only takes a few minutes. Again, slow & steady is key - I am sure to coat every single eyelash front & back! Step 1 is the enhancing gel. I apply this slowly to every lash front & back. As soon as I'm done with step 1, I immediately move to step 2 (I want the gel to still be wet for step 2). Step 2 is the 3D fibers (they look so cool - haha). I evenly coat every lash front & back. Then, I immediately go over my lashes (front & back) with the enhancing gel again - this is step 3.
Ta da - DONE!
Long, full, romantic looking lashes that look like extensions!
P.S - When I'm in a hurry & don't have time for the 3 step mascara - I use the essence false lashes mascara extreme dramatic volume unlimited (wow that's a long name - haha)! It's a complete dupe for too faced better than sex mascara & only $5!
